Laboratory for Latino/a Psychology

Welcome to the Laboratory for Latino/a Psychology at ISU!

The Laboratory for Latino/a Psychology investigates issues surrounding the educational experiences, identity formation, and mental/physical health of Latino/a persons. My lab is located at W249 Lagomarcino Hall on the ISU campus.

Individuals who are interested in working in the lab should contact Dr. Prieto via email or phone.

Current projects in my lab include :

  • Investigating in/out group attitudes within the Latino/a community (who is a “real Latino/a”?)
  • Investigating physiological responses associated with racial micro-aggressions
  • Investigating the mental health help seeking behaviors of Latino/a college students
